What makes Miss Célanea innovative is its ability to bring together environmental sustainability, social inclusion and cultural transformation in a single intervention within the fashion system in Cali.
We are an ecosystem
Unlike traditional initiatives, it does not stop at promoting the circular economy: it builds an ecosystem that links second-hand markets, hands-on learning experiences and cultural and audiovisual narratives.
Learning by doing
Its innovation lies in driving change from the collective and the everyday, through “learning by doing” methodologies that change behaviors, not just knowledge. It also puts women and young people at the center of change, strengthening their economic participation and leadership in the sector.
Fashion, art and community
The project also innovates by connecting fashion, art and community through transmedia content, creating new ways of relating to consumption, territory and identity. This hybrid, participatory and replicable approach makes it possible to scale its impact and adapt to other contexts, driving systemic change from the local level.
